Workout of the Week: Cardio Boxing Sweat Session
If you love boxing, here is a great circuit workout to tone up your entire body and sweat, sweat, sweat! If you have a punching bag - great, but if not you don't need it. Air punching and kicking works well too!
Each exercise should be performed for 1 minute. Once you complete a circuit, rest for 30 seconds then move onto the next circuit. Repeat entire sequence for a total of 2 times. The entire workout should take you about 36 minutes.
Alternating front punches
Alternating roundhouse kicks
Right Side – jab, cross, jab, right side kick
Left Side – jab, cross, jab, left side kick
Plank taps (alternate tapping your toes out to the side)
Right side kicks
Squats w/ knee raises
Left side kicks
Alt. hooks 8 counts / alt. upper cuts 8 counts
Low, medium and high kicks on each side
